Notice of Public Hearing — April 30
The Town of Wilton Zoning Board of Adjustment will meet on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the Emergency Operations Center of the Wilton Fire Station, 102 Main Street (park across the street, NOT in the Fire Station parking lot; enter at the WEST end of the building) to hold hearings on the following cases. Masks are required at all Wilton ZBA meetings.
The applications for these cases, and any other documents that may have been received by the ZBA in connection with them, are available for inspection in the Wilton Land Use Office.
- Michaelann Murphy has requested special exceptions under sections 5.3.1 and 6.6.1 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance to operate a licensed family group child care as a home occupation Lot H-132, 291 Captain Clark Highway. (Case #3/12/2024-1)
- Cale and Elizabeth Brandley have requested variances to sections 6.2.4 and 6.2.5 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance to allow the partial demolition and replacement of an existing house, and the replacement of an existing septic system, on Lot H-13, 19 Potter Road, where the new house and septic system would be closer to the lot lines than allowed by the Ordinance. Notice of Site Visit — May 4
The Clinton & Heidi Wilder Revocable Trust of 2022 has requested a special exception under section 11.4(a) of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance to allow a driveway to cross a wetland area to access a buildable area at the rear of the property on Lot D-133-2, Wilson Road.
The Town of Wilton Zoning Board of Adjustment will meet on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at 100 Wilson Road to hold a site visit for this application. The site visit is a continuation of the public hearing on the case, and is open to the public. Its purpose is to assist the Board members and other interested parties to become familiar with the property involved in the application. Board members and other interested parties may, through the Board chairperson, ask questions about, and the applicant may point out, site details pertaining to the application, such as boundaries, contours, proposed buffers, driveways, etc. No other testimony will be taken, and no other discussion should occur.

The Town of Wilton Zoning Board of Adjustment will meet on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the Wilton Town Hall Courtroom, 42 Main Street to hold hearings on the following cases, and any other cases that may be submitted by the Tuesday, April 30, 2024 application deadline. Masks are required at all Wilton ZBA meetings.
The applications for these cases, and any other documents that may have been received by the ZBA in connection with them, are available for inspection in the Wilton Land Use Office.

- Mark Haman and Lee Muir-Haman have requested variances to sections 8.1 and 8.5 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance to allow the construction of a single-family dwelling on Lot F-24, 369 Gibbons Highway, where residential uses are not permitted in the Industrial District. (Case #5/14/2024-2)
Application Deadline
The next Zoning Board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 14, 2024. Any applications to be considered at this meeting must be filed in the Wilton town offices on or before Tuesday, April 30. See How to Apply for details.
