BUSINESS

Case #6/13/01-1 — Andrew Fairbank

Seeking Special Exception to build a single story addition.

The house, which was built in 1954, predates zoning ordinance and is close to the road. The proposed addition will be 24 ft. wide on the street side and 21 ft. deep, which is the depth of house. It will have heat but no plumbing. The roof will slope towards the street. Two windows are planned for the front of the house and the existing back window will remain.

Mr. Faiman read Section 17-3, which deals with set back rules.

All Board Members present viewed the site. The house is similar to others in the neighborhood. Ms. Eckstrom asked about an existing building on the site plan, which is a barn.

Motion Mr. Tuttle proposed to grant the special exception. The application would be in character of the neighborhood. Mr. Spear seconded the motion. All members voted in favor. Special exception granted.

After the meeting the Board had a Q&A with the civic students.
