This is the 2001 version of the Zoning Ordinance, including all amendments up to and including those passed by Town Meeting in March, 2001, but not any amendments passed in 2002 or later.

19.1 Board of Selectmen.
It shall be the duty of the Board of Selectmen, and the Board is hereby given the power and authority, to enforce the provisions of this Ordinance.
19.2 Building Inspector.
The Building Inspector shall issue any and all building permits requested when such permits are in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance.
19.3 Permits.
Upon passage of this Ordinance, it shall be unlawful to erect or alter the bulk of any building, place any trailer or manufactured house, or relocate any building in these Districts without first obtaining a building permit from the Building Inspector. No permit shall be required for repairing and remodeling where the purpose for which the building is to be used is not changed.
19.4 Violations of the Ordinance.
Upon any well founded information that this Ordinance is being violated, the Selectmen shall take immediate steps to enforce the provisions of this Ordinance by seeking an injunction in the Superior Court or other appropriate legal action.
