You are hereby notified that the application of Christopher T. and Susanne M. Egan for a special exception under section 17.3 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance has been granted.
The special exception will permit the Egans to construct a garage on Lot F-159, 48 Greenville Road, which will be closer to the lot lines than the required setback in the Industrial District, as shown on their previously submitted building permit application and attached site plan.
The Zoning Board declined to overturn the Building Inspector's finding that the Industrial District setbacks were applicable to the lot, and that the proposed garage therefore was not permitted without the special exception. The Zoning Board did not consider the Egans' request for a variance to section 8.2.4 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance, since the special exception was sufficient to provide the requested relief.
