You are hereby notified that the application of Russell Kincaid for a special exception under section 17.3, or a variance to section 6.2.4, of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance has been denied.
If granted, the variance or special exception would have permitted the construction of a porch closer to the rear lot line than the 35 feet required by the ordinance on lot A-18, Burton Highway.
The relief was denied because the Zoning Board found that the proposed construction could be placed on the lot in such a way as to accomodate the porch while satisfying all setback requirements (except those waived by the earlier special exception granted in case # 9/8/99-1).
