You are hereby informed that Randi Stein’s application for a special exception under the terms of sections 6.6.1 and 5.3.1 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance has been approved. The special exception will permit her to use the barn on Lot E–42, 193 Town Farm Road, for classes in dance, yoga, and similar movement activities, and other related events and activities.
The special exception is granted subject to the following restrictions:
- The hours of regular operation are limited to 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm on week days, and 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturdays.
- Regular operation is limited to no more than ten client visits on any one day, and no more than twenty-five total client visits in a week.
- In addition to regular operation, special events will be permitted no more often than every other month. Two special events in a year may have up to forty guests; all other special events will be limited to twenty guests. Special events may be held during the normal hours of operation or, alternatively, between 6:00 pm and 10:00 pm on Saturdays.
- All parking must be on the property, not on Town Farm Road.
- No off-premises signage is permitted.
This decision shall expire on Thursday, May 11, 2006 if operation of the proposed business has not begun by that date. (Wilton Zoning Ordinance section 17.4).
You are hereby informed that the Wilton Zoning Board’s May 11, 2004 approval of Randi Stein’s application for a special exception under the terms of sections 6.6.1 and 5.3.1 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance has been rescinded and superseded by the following decision:
Randi Stein’s application for a special exception under the terms of sections 6.6.1 and 5.3.1 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance has been approved. The special exception will permit her to use the barn on Lot E–42, 193 Town Farm Road, for classes in dance, yoga, and similar movement activities, and other related events and activities.
The special exception is granted subject to the following restrictions:
- The hours of operation are limited to 9:00 am to 9:30 pm, every day.
- Client visits are limited to twenty per week.
- No “special hours” or “special activities” which would increase the weekly allotted number of client visits.
