Household of Faith has applied for a variance to section 5.3.7 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance, to permit the creation of seven dwelling units in the existing building on Lot J–038, 16 Maple Street.
The Town of Wilton Zoning Board of Adjustment will consider this application in a public hearing in the Wilton Town Hall Courtroom on Tuesday, August 9, 2005 at 7:30 p.m.
The application for this case, and any other documents submitted with it, are available for inspection in the Wilton Town Offices.

Tuesday, August 9, 2005 — Continuation
You are hereby informed that the hearing on the application by Household of Faith for a variance to section 5.3.7 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance has been continued to the September 12, 2005 Zoning Board meeting. If granted, the variance would permit the creation of seven dwelling units in the existing building on Lot J–038, 16 Maple Street.
The case is being continued so that the parties to the case can provide evidence with regard to the assertions that permitted uses of the existing building would be economically unfeasible; that the proposed use would be consistent or inconsistent with the character of the neighborhood; and that the proposed use would or would not diminish neighboring property values.
Monday, September 12, 2005 — Continuation
The public hearing on Household of Faith’s variance application has been closed. The Zoning Board will meet on Tuesday, September 27 to deliberate on the information received in the public hearing and to make a decision on the application.
This will be a public meeting, but no further testimony, evidence, or other input will be taken. The Board will make its decision on the basis of the information received in the public hearing.
If granted, the variance would permit the creation of seven dwelling units in the existing building on Lot J–38, 16 Maple Street.
Tuesday, September 27, 2005 — Decision
You are hereby informed that Household of Faith’s application for a variance to section 5.3.7 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance, to permit the creation of seven dwelling units in the existing building on Lot J–038, 16 Maple Street, has been denied. In its place, the Zoning Board granted a variance to permit the creation of four dwelling units in the building.
The selectmen, any party to the action or proceedings, or any person directly affected thereby may apply for a rehearing of this decision. A request for a rehearing must be filed in writing with the Zoning Board of Adjustment on or before Wednesday, October 26, 2005, and must fully specify all grounds on which the rehearing is requested.
