Tuesday, September 11, 2007 — Notice
Kenneth Cadrain has applied for a special exception under section 17.3 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance, or alternatively for a variance to section 5.2.3 of the Ordinance, to permit the residential use of a portion of an existing barn on Lot L–5, Seagroves Road, which is closer to a lot line than is permitted by the Ordinance.
The Town of Wilton Zoning Board of Adjustment will consider this application in a public hearing in in the Wilton Town Hall Courtroom on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 7:30 p.m.
The application for this case, and any other documents submitted with it, are available for inspection in the Wilton Town Offices.

The hearing on the application by Kenneth Cadrain for a special exception under section 17.3 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance, or alternatively for a variance to section 5.2.3 of the Ordinance, has been continued to the Tuesday, October 9 meeting of the Zoning Board, so that the Board can consult with the Town Attorney. If granted, the requested relief would permit the residential use of a portion of an existing barn on Lot L–5, Seagroves Road, which is closer to a lot line than is permitted by the Ordinance.
Tuesday, October 9, 2007 — Decision
The application by Kenneth Cadrain for a special exception under section 17.3 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance has been granted. The special exception will permit the residential use of a portion of an existing barn on Lot L–5, Seagroves Road, which is closer to a lot line than is permitted by the Ordinance. It is granted subject to the restriction that there be no storage of construction material, equipment, or debris on the property west of the barn (except during the conversion of the barn to residential use).
This decision shall expire if the construction or use permitted by it has not begun by Friday, October 9, 2009. (Wilton Zoning Ordinance section 17.4)
The selectmen, any party to the action or proceedings, or any person directly affected thereby may apply for a rehearing of this decision. A request for a rehearing must be filed in writing with the Zoning Board of Adjustment on or before Thursday, November 8, 2007, and must fully specify all grounds on which the rehearing is requested.
