Tuesday, December 11, 2007 — Notice
E&T’s United Venture, Inc. (owner) and L.A. Limousine Service, Inc. (applicant) have applied for variances to sections 5.2.3 and 16.2.1.2 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance, to allow for the construction of a sign larger than allowed by the Ordinance on Lot L–27, 223 Gibbons Highway.
This is a continuation of a portion of Case 10/9/07–3, to allow the applicant to submit a photo of the sign and scale drawings with measurements and exact location shown on the plan, showing the sign both if limited to the height allowed in the residential district and at the applicant's requested height.
The Town of Wilton Zoning Board of Adjustment will consider this application in a public hearing in the Wilton Town Hall Courtroom on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 7:30 p.m.
The application for this case, and any other documents submitted with it, are available for inspection in the Wilton Town Offices.

At the request of the applicant, the hearing on the application by E&T’s United Venture, Inc. (owner) and L.A. Limousine Service, Inc. (applicant) for variances to sections 5.2.3 and 16.2.1.2 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance has been continued to Tuesday, January 8, 2008.
If granted, the variances would allow for the construction of a sign larger than allowed by the Ordinance on Lot L–27, 223 Gibbons Highway.
Tuesday, January 8, 2008 — Decision
The application by E&T’s United Venture, Inc. (owner) and L.A. Limousine Service, Inc. (applicant) for variances to sections 5.2.3 and 16.2.1.2 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance has been approved. The variances will permit the erection of a sign on Lot L–27, 223 Gibbons Highway (NH Route 101). A photograph of the proposed sign was presented to the Zoning Board and is in the ZBA case file. The sign is approximately 4.4 by 4.8 feet in size and is to be located in the proposed location, as shown on the plan labeled “Non-residential Site Plan / Lot L–27 / L.A. Limousine Service, Inc. / Wilton, NH / December 17, 2008.” The top of the sign is to be no more than 13 feet above the ground, and the sign is not to be illuminated after 10:00 p.m.
This decision shall expire if the construction or use permitted by it has not begun by Friday, January 8, 2010. (Wilton Zoning Ordinance section 17.4)
The selectmen, any party to the action or proceedings, or any person directly affected thereby may apply for a rehearing of this decision. A request for a rehearing must be filed in writing with the Zoning Board of Adjustment on or before Thursday, February 7, 2008, and must fully specify all grounds on which the rehearing is requested.
