Tuesday, April 14, 2009 — Notice
Alice Bennett Groh and Trauger Groh have applied for a variance to section 17.1 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance, to allow a non-conforming building which was destroyed by fire to be rebuilt in a different location on Lot C-134, 135 Temple Road.
The Town of Wilton Zoning Board of Adjustment will consider this application in a public hearing in the Wilton Town Hall Courtroom on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 7:30 p.m.
The application for this case, and any other documents submitted with it, are available for inspection in the Wilton Town Offices.
Tuesday, April 14, 2009 — Decision
The application of Alice Bennett Groh and Trauger Groh for a use variance to section 17.1 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance has been granted. The variance will allow a non-conforming building which was destroyed by fire to be rebuilt in a different location on
Lot C–134, 135 Temple Road.
The variance is subject to the following requirements: The new building can be of different aspect ratio but the same square footage as the original building; a plan showing the location and size of the new structure within the building envelope of the property be submitted to the town offices.
This decision shall expire if the construction or use permitted by it has not begun by Thursday, April 14, 2011. (Wilton Zoning Ordinance section 17.4)
The selectmen, any party to the action or proceedings, or any person directly affected thereby may apply for a rehearing of this decision. A request for a rehearing must be filed in writing with the Zoning Board of Adjustment on or before Thursday, May 14, 2009, and must fully specify all grounds on which the rehearing is requested.
