Tuesday, November 10, 2009 — Notice
Marcia M. Benson and Kim T. Benson have applied for a special exception under section 5.3.1 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance, to permit a barber shop as a home occupation in the existing home on Lot F–140, 160 Intervale Road.
The Town of Wilton Zoning Board of Adjustment will consider this application in a public hearing in the Wilton Town Hall Courtroom on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 7:30 p.m.
The application for this case, and any other documents submitted with it, are available for inspection in the Wilton Town Offices.
Tuesday, November 10, 2009 — Decision
The application by Marcia M. Benson and Kim T. Benson for a special exception under section 5.3.1 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance has been granted. The special exception will permit a barber shop as a home occupation in the Benson’s home on Lot F–140, 160 Intervale Road. Hours of operation are limited to 10 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, and 9 am to 1 pm Saturday. There will be no outside employees.
This decision shall expire if the construction or use permitted by it has not begun by Thursday, November 10, 2011. (Wilton Zoning Ordinance section 17.4)
The selectmen, any party to the action or proceedings, or any person directly affected thereby may apply for a rehearing of this decision. A request for a rehearing must be filed in writing with the Zoning Board of Adjustment on or before Thursday, December 10, 2009, and must fully specify all grounds on which the rehearing is requested.
