Tuesday, May 13, 2014 — Decision

The application by Roni A. Conlon for a special exception under section 17.3 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance has been granted. The special exception will permit the construction of a garage on Lot L–3, 60 Burns Hill Road, which will be closer to the front lot line than would otherwise be allowed by the Ordinance. The garage is to be located as shown on the plan submitted with the application, and no part of the garage may be less than twenty feet from the front lot line, or less than twelve feet from the house.

Because the special exception permits the desired construction, the Zoning Board did not consider Ms. Conlon’s request for a variance to section 5.2.3 of the ordinance.

This decision shall expire if the construction or use permitted by it has not begun by Friday, May 13, 2016. (Wilton Zoning Ordinance section 17.4)

The selectmen, any party to the action or proceedings, or any person directly affected thereby may apply for a rehearing of this decision. A request for a rehearing must be filed in writing with the Zoning Board of Adjustment on or before Thursday, June 12, 2014, and must fully specify all grounds on which the rehearing is requested.
