Tuesday, May 8, 2018 — Continuation
The hearing on the application by Kenneth and Maxine Stickney for a variance to Section 6.2.4 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance has been continued to the next ZBA meeting on June 12, 2018. The requested variance would allow the construction of a garage on Lot B–42, 231 Curtis Farm Road, which would be closer to a lot line than is otherwise permitted by the Ordinance. The Zoning Board has requested that the Stickneys do sufficient subsurface testing to confirm their belief that (1) there really is ledge which would make construction of their proposed garage in a conforming location impractical, and (2) construction in their proposed nonconforming location is practical.
