Notice

Ann Colby Hines has requested a special exception under section 5.3.1 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance to permit the organic propagation and seasonal sales of meadow and wetland plant materials as a home occupation at Lot D-136, Wilson Road.

The Town of Wilton Zoning Board of Adjustment will consider this application in a public hearing on Wednesday, November 14, 1990 at 7:30 p.m. in the Wilton Town Hall Courtroom, 42 Main Street.

Decision

The request by Ann Colby Hines for a special exception under section 5.3.1 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance has been withdrawn. The special exception would have would have have permitted the organic propagation and seasonal sales of meadow and wetland plant materials as a home occupation at Lot D-136, Wilson Road. The Board found that the applicant’s proposal is for a general farming and forest activity, which according to Section 6.1 of the Ordinance is a permitted use in the Residential/Agricultural district.
