Notice

Donald and Julienne Byrd have requested a variance to section 5.2.3 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of an addition to an existing house which does not satisfy the setback requirements on Lot J-120, 18 Island Street.

The Town of Wilton Zoning Board of Adjustment will consider this application in a public hearing on Wednesday, March 13, 1996 at 7:30 p.m. in the Wilton Town Hall Courtroom, 42 Main Street.

Decision

The request by Donald and Julienne Byrd for a variance to section 5.2.3 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance has been granted.

The variance will allow the construction of an addition to the the existing dwelling on Lot J-120, 18 Island Street which will reach to within 31 feet of the front lot line, replacing an existing addition which extends into the side lot setback, as shown on the plan submitted with the application.

The selectmen, any party to the action or proceedings, or any person directly affected thereby may apply for a rehearing of this decision. A request for a rehearing must be filed in writing with the Zoning Board of Adjustment on or before Friday, April 12, 1996, and must fully specify all grounds on which the rehearing is requested.
