Decision
The application by Kathryn Rockwood for a special exception under section 5.3.1 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance has been granted. The special exception will allow, as a home occupation on Lot J–29, 34 Park Street, the hosting of small events such as, but not limited to:
- Baby showers
- Bridal showers
- Birthday parties
- Retirement celebrations
- Health and wellness events
- Informational/educational workshops
- Business meetings
The approval is subject to the following conditions:
- Maximum guests not to exceed 20 people (including any B&B guests)
- No on-street parking
- Events not to begin or end within 30 minutes before or after the beginning or end of school at FRES (Florence Rideout Elementary School)
- Duration of events limited to 5 hours
- Events shall end by 9:00 p.m.
- No alcohol
- No more than2 non-family employees
A copy of this decision is to be filed with the deed for the property at the Hillsborough County Registry of Deeds.
This decision shall expire if the construction or use permitted by it has not begun by Thursday, May 12, 2022. (Wilton Zoning Ordinance section 17.4)
The selectmen, any party to the action or proceedings, or any person directly affected thereby may apply for a rehearing of this decision. A request for a rehearing must be filed in writing with the Zoning Board of Adjustment on or before Thursday, June 11, 2020, and must fully specify all grounds on which the rehearing is requested. (N.H. RSA 677:2)
