Notice
Jonathan Mitchell and Nancy Wilson have requested special exceptions under sections 6.6.1 and 5.3.1 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance to allow a childcare program for up to 3 children, aged 4–6 years, as a home occupation at Lot D-19-6, 77 Putnam Hill Road.
The Town of Wilton Zoning Board of Adjustment will consider this application in a public hearing on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. in the Wilton Town Hall Courtroom, 42 Main Street.
Decision
The request by Jonathan Mitchell and Nancy Wilson for special exceptions under sections 6.6.1 and 5.3.1 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance to allow a child care program for up to three (3) children, aged 4–6 years, as a home occupation at Lot D-019-06, 77 Putnam Hill Road has been denied on the grounds that no special exception is required.
Any expansion to care for more than three children will require special exceptions under sections 6.6.1 and 5.3.1 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance by the Zoning Board of Adjustment, site plan approval from the Planning Board, and child care licensing from the New Hampshire Department of Health & Human Services Child Care Licensing Unit.
The selectmen, any party to the action or proceedings, or any person directly affected thereby may apply for a rehearing of this decision. A request for a rehearing must be filed in writing with the Zoning Board of Adjustment on or before Thursday, September 7, 2023, and must fully specify all grounds on which the rehearing is requested.
