Notice

Jeremy Greenman, as Trustee of the Janet W Greenman Trust and the Greenman Revocable Trust, has applied for variances either to section 17.2 or to sections 14.3.1 and 14.3.3 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance to allow the construction of a house on Lot A–52, Davisville Road and Burton Highway, which would be closer to a wetland area than is otherwise permitted in the Watershed District.

The Town of Wilton Zoning Board of Adjustment will consider this application in a public hearing in the Wilton Town Hall Courtroom on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at 7:30 p.m.

The application for this case, and any other documents submitted with it, are available for inspection in the Wilton Town Offices.

Saturday, June 15, 2019 — Site Visit

Notice

The Town of Wilton Zoning Board of Adjustment will meet on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. at Lot A–52, Davisville Road to hold a site visit for the application by Jeremy Greenman, as Trustee of the Janet W Greenman Trust and the Greenman Revocable Trust, for variances either to section 17.2 or to sections 14.3.1 and 14.3.3 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance.

The site visit is a continuation of the public hearing on the case, and is open to the public. Its purpose is to assist the Board members and other interested parties to become familiar with the property involved in the application. Board members and other interested parties may, through the Board chairperson, ask questions about, and the applicant may point out, site details pertaining to the application, such as boundaries, contours, proposed buffers, driveways, etc. No other testimony will be taken, and no other discussion should occur.

Jeremy Greenman, as Trustee of the Janet W Greenman Trust and the Greenman Revocable Trust, has applied for variances to sections 6.2.4, 6.2.5, 14.3.1, 14.3.3,and/or 17.2 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance to allow the construction of a house and septic system on Lot A–52, Davisville Road and Burton Highway, where the house and septic system would be closer to a wetland area than is otherwise permitted in the Watershed District, and the septic system would be closer to a lot line than is permitted in the General Residence and Agricultural District.

Decision

The application by Jeremy Greenman, as Trustee of the Janet W Greenman Trust and the Greenman Revocable Trust, for variances to sections 6.2.5, 14.3.1, and 14.3.3 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance has been granted. The variances will allow the construction of a house and septic system on Lot A–52, Davisville Road and Burton Highway, where the house will be approximately 95 feet from the wetland area on the lot, the septic system will be approximately 125 feet from the wetland area on the lot, the septic system will be no less than 18 feet from a side lot line, and the lot size is 2.4 acres, as shown on the plan submitted to the Zoning Board at its July 9, 2019 meeting.

This decision shall expire if the construction or use permitted by it has not begun by Friday, July 9, 2021. (Wilton Zoning Ordinance section 17.4)

The selectmen, any party to the action or proceedings, or any person directly affected thereby may apply for a rehearing of this decision. A request for a rehearing must be filed in writing with the Zoning Board of Adjustment on or before Thursday, August 8, 2019, and must fully specify all grounds on which the rehearing is requested.
