Isaac Frye Holdings, LLC has requested variances to sections 9B.6.1, 9B.6.2, and 9B.6.4 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance to allow a proposed gravel excavation on Lot F-3-2, Isaac Frye Highway, where the excavation would be closer to lot lines than allowed by the Ordinance, would be reclaimed with steeper slopes than allowed by the Ordinance, and the access for the removal of the excavated material would be to Isaac Frye Highway rather than to Greenville Road.

The Town of Wilton Zoning Board of Adjustment will consider this application in a public hearing on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the Emergency Operations Center of the Wilton Fire Station, 102 Main Street (park across the street, NOT in the Fire Station parking lot; enter at the WEST end of the building).

Isaac Frye Holdings, LLC has requested variances to sections 9B.6.1, 9B.6.2, and 9B.6.4 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance to allow a proposed gravel excavation on Lot F-3-2, Isaac Frye Highway, where the excavation would be closer to lot lines than allowed by the Ordinance, would be reclaimed with steeper slopes than allowed by the Ordinance, and the access for the removal of the excavated material would be to Isaac Frye Highway rather than to Greenville Road.

The Town of Wilton Zoning Board of Adjustment will meet on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at Lot F-3-2 to hold a site visit for this application. The site visit is a continuation of the public hearing on the case, and is open to the public. Its purpose is to assist the Board members and other interested parties to become familiar with the property involved in the application. Board members and other interested parties may, through the Board chairperson, ask questions about, and the applicant may point out, site details pertaining to the application, such as boundaries, contours, proposed buffers, driveways, etc. No other testimony will be taken, and no other discussion should occur.

Park in the driveway on the property, shared with 539 Isaac Frye Highway, Stay left and park along the left side of the driveway into the back of the property. DO NOT TURN RIGHT INTO THE DRIVEWAY FOR THE HOUSE JUST OFF THE ROAD.
